Renovation
This was a commercial renovation to behold. We agreed to take on this project with an extremely short completion timeframe as our clients had purchased the building and needed to relocate their existing business prior to the end of 2022.
The location is occupied by an iconic heritage building. The building is a structural beast, but it was desperately in need of an extensive renovation to successfully transform it into the ultimate business and office space that it is now.
Our Project Consultants worked meticulously to gain the heritage approval required to get this project off the ground. Our team and trades needed to use their extensive skills and cooperation to overcome the many challenges the building presented. Every layer that was stripped back provided a challenge that few builders and their trades would be able to provide solutions to, especially in the timeframes required.
The transformation involved a scope of works including a full double-story demolition, new electricals, upgraded lighting throughout, new data connections and cabling, a kitchen fit-out, a bar, an ensuite with a shower, 2 toilets, a reception area, new office spaces, commercial carpets, full-site painting, and more… all in only 22 weeks.
Our clients didn’t believe it was possible to complete the project on time, so they canceled their delivery company. To their delight and surprise, they had to rebook it when we proudly finished as promised.
We are unsure that we will ever require or see greater cooperation between a client, builder, trades, and supplies than we did on this project.
